Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of RealOrAiVideo, a media authenticity platform operated by Digilu. By using the site and its analysis, you agree to what follows. Please read the first section carefully, because it describes the single most important thing to understand about this tool.
The analysis is an estimate, not proof
This is the heart of these terms, and we state it plainly. RealOrAiVideo produces authenticity indicators and an AI generation likelihood. It does not, and cannot, prove that any video is or is not AI-generated, deepfaked, or manipulated. No tool can offer that kind of certainty, and we never claim to.
The result is a signal-based estimate, derived from publicly observable information such as a video's description, creator disclosures, and viewer comments. It is a probability-flavored judgment, not a verdict. A high likelihood does not establish that a video is synthetic, and a low likelihood does not establish that it is genuine.
You must not rely on the analysis as the sole basis for any decision, accusation, or public claim. Do not use it to allege that a specific person created a fake, to make employment, legal, financial, or journalistic determinations on its own, or to accuse anyone of deception. Treat the output as one input among many, to be weighed alongside your own judgment and corroborating evidence.
Acceptable use
You agree to use RealOrAiVideo lawfully and in good faith. In particular, you agree not to:
- Use the analysis to harass, defame, or falsely accuse any person or organization.
- Submit content you have no right to submit, or attempt to access non-public material.
- Attempt to scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service or its underlying systems.
- Misrepresent the output as a definitive determination of authenticity, or strip it of the uncertainty we attach to it.
No warranty
The site and the analysis are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that results will be accurate, complete, current, or uninterrupted. Because the analysis is estimative and depends on public data we do not control, errors and omissions are possible.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Digilu and RealOrAiVideo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any decision you make in reliance on the analysis. Your use of the platform, and any judgments you form from its output, are your own responsibility.
Intellectual property
The RealOrAiVideo name, brand, written content, essays, and the design and code of this site are the property of Digilu and its licensors, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may share and quote our essays with attribution and a link, but you may not copy, republish wholesale, or commercially exploit the site's content without permission. Video content referenced through the analyzer remains the property of its respective rights holders, and our use of public YouTube data is also governed by Google's terms.
Third-party data and links
The analysis draws on publicly available data from YouTube and Google, and the site links to external sources and trackers. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, and a link does not imply endorsement.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
